Purpose of data processing and legal bases

This data processing is based on the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR and takes place to fulfill legal obligations (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR, e.g. tax law obligations). If you do not provide us with data that we need for this purpose, we may not be able to provide our services (anymore) and/or would violate legal obligations.
Furthermore, we process personal data that arise in the context of business transactions (e.g. data on service provision) or that are necessary for the processing of the contract (fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR) or that we must process and store on the basis of legal regulations (Art. 6 Para. I lit. c GDPR).
We process data for the purpose of network maintenance (name and contact details, function-related data, correspondence in this matter); You can revoke this at any time without giving reasons by sending a postal letter to us or by e-mail to fslomka@polarisfamily.com. A revocation has the consequence that we will no longer process your data for the above-mentioned purpose from this point in time.
Furthermore, data can be transmitted by us to the following recipients:
- Tax advisor or auditor
- Courts, authorities, tax offices (to fulfill legal obligations; or due to our legitimate interest in appropriate prosecution; Art. 6 Para. I lit. c or lit. f GDPR)
Other purposes of data processing
We will not process the data for any purposes other than those listed above, unless you have consented to this or we are obliged to do so under applicable law or we have a legitimate interest in the processing that is not overridden by a legitimate interest in confidentiality (for example, in the case of processing for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending our own legal claims). Automated decision-making, in particular profiling, does not take place.
Processors
Insofar as processors receive access to your data, we have contractually ensured through the conclusion of

No transfer to third countries and/or to international organizations
Your data will be processed exclusively within the EU or the EEA for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
Storage period

Google Analytics
Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on activities within the website and to provide us with other services associated with the use of this website and the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other data from Google.
